Good Night Foundation
The Good Night Foundation is a non-profit organization that partners with hoteliers to raise funds to support local and global programs to help make all parts of the world safe, healthy, desirable places to live and visit. At Good Night Foundation partner hotels, a four dollar charitable donation is added to each guest's nightly charge.
The Good Night Foundation addresses global challenges by funding programs focused on health, education, poverty alleviation and the environment. In addition, 50% of The Good Night Foundation's proceeds remain in the community in which they were collected, supporting organizations selected by the hotel staff. In this way, guests can be sure their contributions benefit each community they visit. Guests who do not wish to participate may opt out by contacting their hotel front desk.

Ventana Wildlife Society Research and Education Center was established in Big Sur's Andrew Molera State Park in January 1992. Inspired by the desire to reach out to the public, and with support from the California Department of Parks and Recreation, VWS expanded its programs to include bird research at the Big Sur Ornithology Lab, environmental education and habitat restoration. Today, our current program areas include Species Recovery focusing on California Condor reintroduction, Conservation Ecology, Conservation Education, and Habitat Restoration. The mission of Ventana Wildlife Society is to conserve native wildlife and their habitats.
