From Northern California

• Take Highway 101 South
  

• Follow 101 to Highway 156 West, Monterey Peninsula Exit
  

• Highway 156 merges into Highway 1 South

• Continue on Highway 1 past Monterey & Carmel
  
  
The drive from Carmel to Big Sur is about 30 miles or 45 minutes. Post Ranch Inn is located on the west, the right side of the highway.

OR

• Go south on Highway 280
  

• Get on Highway 85 South
  

• Take 101 South towards Los Angeles
  

• Continue south past Gilroy & Prunedale
  

• Take Highway 156 West, Monterey Peninsula Exit
  

• Highway 156 merges into Highway 1 South

• Continue on Highway 1 past Monterey & Carmel.
  

The drive from Carmel to Big Sur is about 30 miles or 45 minutes. Post Ranch Inn is located on the west, the right side of the highway.

Take Highway 1 south to Big Sur (It takes a bit longer, but it's a beautiful drive.)
