About Laurent-Perrier

Laurent-Perrier is a family-owned Champagne house whose commitment to sustainable viticulture and innovative winemaking mirrors our own values here at Post Ranch. They practice certified sustainable viticulture as enforced by Comité Champagne and are among our most valued partners.

Located in the heart of Champagne, Laurent-Perrier is a Grand Marque House crafting fresh, pure, and elegant champagnes since 1812. Family-owned by the de Nonancourts, the House maintains strong, generational relationships with independent growers and proudly leads in sustainable viticulture. Over the past two centuries, Champagne Laurent-Perrier has refined three core savoir-faire:

  • Non-Dosage: Pioneers of the category, Laurent-Perrier launched Ultra Brut in 1981, and furthered this expertise with the first zero-dosage Blanc de Blancs in 2019.
  • Blending Reserve Wines: At the core of Laurent-Perrier’s vision lies the art of blending, precisely marrying grape varieties, terroirs, and – above all – reserve wines to create a unique signature. Pioneering with Grand Siècle in the 1950s to showcase wines that have reached an optimal stage of maturity, the Maison has developed exceptional expertise in selecting, preserving, and managing its reserve wines, which it ages in dedicated stainless-steel vats to fully preserve the freshness and typicity of each cru.
  • Maceration: Almost all rosés in Champagne are made by adding still red wine, but Laurent-Perrier has made rosés only by maceration since pioneering our process in 1968. Grapes are sorted, destemmed, and undergo cold maceration in stainless-steel vats for 48-72 hours until the distinguished oenological profile is achieved.

These savoir-faire have positioned Laurent-Perrier as a global leader in Champagne, where innovation and tradition continue to define the House.
