At The Macallan, every decision is guided by their Six Pillars, the fundamental principles that define their rich and complex whiskies, from their strong sense of place to their long experience in distilling and maturing exceptional single malts. This commitment to craftsmanship and tradition aligns beautifully with Post Ranch Inn’s values, making them a natural partner for this winter series.

About The Macallan

Nestled alongside the River Spey and surrounded by stunning natural scenery on its idyllic 485-acre estate in the heart of the Speyside region of the Scottish Highlands, The Macallan has been synonymous with incomparable craftsmanship and unparalleled quality since its founding by Alexander Reid in 1824, when it became one of the first legally licensed distilleries in Scotland. From acorn to glass, place to process, The Macallan’s exquisitely unique spirit and reputation for the extraordinary is rooted in its singular ownership of every step in the creation of its whiskies, as defined by its Six Pillars, which include its famed Curiously Small Stills; the Exceptional Oak Casks that are primarily responsible for its final character and flavor; and its insistence on 100% natural color, derived only from the wood in which the whiskies are matured. It is the adherence to these uncompromising standards of excellence, and the people and passion that make it all possible, that has made the brand so beloved by whisky connoisseurs the world around.
