Every journey should be as exceptional as the destination itself. Despite a temporary road closure of Highway 1 to the north of Big Sur, we’re pleased to announce that Post Ranch Inn is open to guests…by air!

For a limited time, now through late May*, experience Big Sur in a way that few ever have, with our Open Skies Package, featuring round-trip helicopter service between Monterey and Post Ranch along with an all-inclusive dining experience at Sierra Mar for stays of two nights or more.

Your journey begins at Monterey’s Del Monte Aviation where you’ll be greeted with Champagne, followed by an awe-inspiring, 20-minute helicopter ride through the lush, rolling hillsides of Big Sur, before setting down directly at Post Ranch where a relaxing, unforgettable stay awaits.

Helicopter flights are scheduled daily, weather permitting. All flight reservations will be arranged directly through the Post Ranch Reservations team, who will work with you to schedule your arrival and departure. Please note that due to limited space on our helicopters, there are specific weight limitations for luggage. Our Reservations team will review these details with you.

If you prefer to fly into Monterey, Monterey Regional Airport offers convenient non-stop flights from Dallas, Denver, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Phoenix, San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco and is conveniently located adjacent to Del Monte Aviation.

**Please note that once Highway 1 fully reopens without restrictions for visitor access from the north, expected in late May, we will stop helicopter flights immediately, as guests will be able to travel to Post Ranch by car.**
