Although Highway 1 remains open only to residents, the skies above Big Sur have opened up and we invite you to experience Post Ranch in a way that few ever have with our Open Skies Package, offering a stunning round-trip helicopter shuttle experience from Monterey to Big Sur along with all of your dining at Post Ranch.

We are delighted to offer you this exclusive opportunity, only available for a limited time until Highway 1 reopens for visitor access, expected in late May. With your permission, we will adjust your current reservation to the new Open Skies Package.

The Open Skies Package enhances your current stay with a special premium addition of $375 per person to your existing reservation and room rate, and now includes round-trip helicopter transportation and all meals at Post Ranch*.

Your journey begins at Monterey’s Del Monte Aviation where you’ll be greeted with Champagne, followed by an awe-inspiring, 20-minute helicopter ride through the lush, rolling hillsides of Big Sur, before setting down directly at Post Ranch where a relaxing, unforgettable stay awaits.

Isolation in paradise also has its privileges, as this quieter time in Big Sur allows you to experience a host of our local restaurants and galleries pretty much to yourself! Visit our website for more information.

Helicopter flights are scheduled daily between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., weather permitting. All flight reservations will be arranged directly through the Post Ranch Reservations team, who will work with you to schedule your arrival and departure. Due to limited space on our helicopters, there are specific weight limitations for luggage. Our Reservations team will review these details with you.

**Please note that once Highway 1 reopens for visitor access, expected in late May, we will stop helicopter flights immediately, subject to our agreement with the Big Sur community, as guests will be able to travel to/from Post Ranch by car or hotel shuttle.**
